Yoga and Pilates
The Westview Healthplex offers a variety of Mind and Body classes to help you reach your fitness goals. Classes are held in our new Mind and Body studio which provides an atmosphere perfect for focus and relaxation. Specialty Class Descriptions
Pilates Mat: Pilates Mat focuses on the classical repetoire of Joseph Pilates principles. Participants will benefit from core and stability training with enhanced breathing techniques. All fitness levels can benefit from this class.
Gentle Yoga: Relax, strengthen and soothe the body and mid while focusing on elongation, alignment and breathing. All levels are welcome.
Hatha Yoga: This 45 minute class focuses on beginning yoga postures, breathing, technique and alignment. This class is ideal for increasing flexibility, muscle balance, relaxation and meditation. All fitness levels are welcome.
Power Yoga: Discover the age old secret to health and vitality with this incredible mind/body workout. Increase strength and flexibility with a smooth yoga class that will incorporate all the traditional benefits of yoga. All fitness levels welcome, however this is a moderate to intense level class.
Vinyasa Yoga: Vinyasa means breath connected movement. This yoga class flows from one ashtanga pose to another with an emphasis on alignment. Vinyasa is more advanced yoga and we recommend taking Hatha and Power before attending.
Hard Core: Strengthen your core and learn the benefits of core training with this unique abdominals routine. A strong core will allow you to keep optimal body alignment for whatever activities you decide to participate in. This class is not to be missed.

5 class punch card: $32.50
10 class punch card: $50.00
Non-member price: $12 per class
Mind/Body Pass: Unlimited Pilates Mat, Yoga, and Hard Core classes for one month from date of purchaes. Members: $35/month; non-members: $45/month
Pilates Reformer
Pilates Reformer is strength training on the Allegro Reformer machine. This workout is so unique it cannot be duplicated by any other piece of equipment in the club. This type of training can change the shape of your body and owrk each muscle group while maintaining core control. Benefits of Pilates Reformer include increased core strength sculpted legs, buns and arms, lean muscle around the shoulders and improved body awareness and posture.
